He previously completed a Master&#8217;s degree in Geography at the Goethe University Frankfurt (Thesis: Zu den Funktionsweisen von Vermittlungsagenturen und der Expropriation von Arbeit in der transnationalen Bauindustrie) and completed his Bachelor&#8217;s degree at the University of Leipzig. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Human Geography at Goethe University Frankfurt, in the Mobility and Urban Spaces research group at ISOE, at the Department of Urban and Environmental Sociology at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research and at the Institute of Human Geography at Leipzig University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was also part of the coordinating group for the Deutscher Kongress f\u00fcr Geographie 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research focus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Homelessness \u2013 Welfare state \u2013 Housing market<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Migration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Labour Geography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Urban Geography<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recent projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>The Homeless Welfare State<\/em>: Housing Allocation as the Institutionalized Regulation of a Tension-Laden Property Order&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking \u201cHousing First\u201d as my starting point, I examine the relationship between the welfare state, the housing market and homelessness.
