He has been pursuing his doctoral research since 2025, supported by a doctoral scholarship from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation since 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 2024 to 2025, he contributed to the teaching and research project \u201cFachlicher Nachwuchs entwirft Zukunft (FNEZ) \u2013 Die bodenlose Stadt\u201d, part of the Nationale Stadtentwicklungspolitik initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 2017 to 2020, Christian Molter studied Architecture at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, followed by a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart from 2021 to 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Areas of Work \/ Research<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Financialization and commodification of the real estate sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Land policy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demolition and reconstruction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Current Projects<\/strong><br><br>\u201cDemolition and Reconstruction Activities in Public-Interest Housing\u201d The doctoral research project examines the broader economic rationales underlying demolition and reconstruction, the extent to which processes of financialization in the public-interest housing sector influence the decision-making of housing providers, and how developments in land values contribute to the economization of public-interest housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teaching and Research Project \u201cFachlicher Nachwuchs entwirft Zukunft (FNEZ) \u2013 Die bodenlose Stadt\u201d, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building&nbsp;&nbsp;through the Nationale Stadtentwicklungspolitik initiative (10\/2024\u201312\/2025).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Short CV Since 2024, Christian Molter has been a research associate at the Institute of Urban Planning and Design \u2013 Planning Theory and Practice at the University of Stuttgart, where he works with Prof. Laura Calbet.
