Short CV
Anthony Miro Born is an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the London School of Economcis and Political Science.
Before joining LSE, Miro has worked at Goethe Universität Frankfurt, Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Potsdam, and Technical University of Berlin. He holds a PhD from the Department of Sociology, London School of Economics and Political Science (2023).
In 2024, he was a finalist for the German Thesis Award. His article “The Long Shadow of Territorial Stigma” was recognised with the Urban Studies Best Article Award as the most innovative and agenda-setting contribution of 2023.
