What are differences between housing systems in Europe and how to explain them? Along empirical and methodological approaches Joris Hoekstra addresses what has been done so far and what is missing in the broad and interdisciplinary field of European Housing Research? He demonstrates how housing problems for young people in local studies, such as in Amsterdam, and general European patterns can be analysed from various but combinable approaches.
